CINCINNATI - Some hockey players see red when they get mad, Friday night at the US Bank Arena, everyone saw pink.
The Pure Romance sponsored 'Pink in the Rink' event invaded the US Bank arena as the Cyclones faced off in the second of their three game series against the Florida Everblades.
The Cyclones skated on pink ice and wore special pink jerseys which were auctioned off after the game to benefit the Patty Brisben Foundation to help causes related to women and sexual health.
The game was tied 1 - 1 after the first, but the Cyclones surged ahead, powered by a three goal 3rd period, including the 2nd score of the game from former Florida Everblade, Brady Calla.
The Cyclones trounced the visiting Everblades by a final score of 6 - 1.
