Mission/Purpose
The Patty Brisben Foundation serves to strengthen, support, and enhance the health services provided specifically for women through education and research, thus improving the quality of women’s health and well-being.
The purpose of The Patty Brisben Foundation is to develop collaborative partnerships with appropriate public and private organizations to provide continuing education, up-to-date research and community programming to further enhance the health services provided to all women.
The Patty Brisben Foundation has several initial goals and objectives that it hopes to accomplish in the coming years.
1. Goal:
Increase awareness among women of the services provided by The Patty Brisben Foundation and their collaborative partnerships.
Objectives:
∙ Women all across the country will be able to articulate the services provided by The Patty Brisben Foundation.
∙ There will be an increase in utilization of services provided by The Patty Brisben Foundation and their partners by the female population.
2. Goal:
Improve educational resources to health care professionals regarding women’s sexual health.
Objectives:
∙ Provide funding for women’s sexual health-based research, educational materials and educational programs.
∙ Publish an annual newsletter to healthcare professionals about the ongoing and completed research studies, as well as the education programs and materials created.
3. Goal:
Encourage women to embrace a positive self-image and their sexuality as part of healthy living.
Objectives:
∙ Open communication between women and Pure Romance Consultants, who serve as a source for reliable information regarding women’s sexual health.
∙ Participate in community outreach programs to extend services of The Patty Brisben Foundation to other programs geared toward women’s health.
